Best purchase experience I’ve had. I picked up a brand new GMC truck that is a rock solid beast of a vehicle. I went to Toyota first gave them the numbers I wanted and I got exactly what I expected, that tired back and forth haggle fest. In the end they agreed to my numbers but it was exactly what I hate about buying a vehicle. I decided to go to take a stab at Swickard and check out the GMC.. Glad I did! I gave them the numbers and they just said ok, done. No haggling, no posturing, no torture. I have had some miserable buying experiences in my life this one was the opposite, just about as easy as it gets. My salesperson was Kristi Pollard and I cannot speak highly enough of her. She was patient, engaging, knowledgeable and just a pleasure to hang out and chat with. She is a total professional. Tony in finance, cool as can be. Carlos and Matt in service are excellent at what they do. I must say as patient and kind as can be, even when they had every reason not to be..(I came in impatient and tight as a drum acting like a lunatic) They calmly let me know my “concerns” were OPERATOR ERROR 😪. Ahh man.. I did it again! I’m Buddy Rich when I fly off the handle🤣embarrassing for me but they took it as an opportunity to showcase composure & teach me another badly needed lesson in the art of “tactical pause.” A lesson I’ve been taught many times but have yet to actually learn. Go see these folks they deserve the local business. If you want a Cadillac, GMC, Chevrolet, Buick do the right thing and support the locals at Swickard. Do business in your neighborhood, keep the money here and we don’t have to travel down the pipe to get big city professional treatment, we thankfully have a top notch professional GM dealership right here in Thousand Oaks. Do it! They aim to please!
