# Summary Experiences at this dealership vary significantly, with some customers praising the attentive and patient service from staff members who helped them find the right vehicle, while others report frustration with inadequate customer assistance during purchases, unclear fee explanations, poor vehicle preparation, and service department failures that required multiple visits to resolve issues.
I’m glad that many of you had good experiences — I truly hope those reviews are from real clients. I love my new car, but overall my experience was very disappointing. It’s a long story, but here are the main points: 1. We had to do the test drive by ourselves because everyone was “too busy” to assist us. It was very strange, especially since we had to figure out all the car features on our own. 2. When we sat down with the finance person, the main focus seemed to be selling Zurich insurance — sign all the papers and done. There was none explanation of the final amount being financed and the all charges included. 3. The car was not properly cleaned. At first glance it looked fine, but once you looked closely, many details were missed — it even had someone’s hair band inside. What finally made me decide to write this review was receiving a DMV letter just two weeks after purchasing my car, charging me a $118 civil penalty for not informing them about the insurance change — which was supposed to be the dealership’s responsibility since they handled the paperwork. The dealership received DMV documents just two days before my plates expired. They called me Friday midday, giving me only half of Friday and Saturday to respond. They are closed on Sundays — and unfortunately, I was at the hospital with my sister that weekend. My registration expired Sunday, and I couldn’t work Monday and most likely Tuesday without a DMV permit. After charging $150 for a doc fee and $949 for dealer/doc-related fees, they then asked me for an additional $90 to cover “extra DMV charges.” Now I will lose two days of work, still have to deal with the civil penalty, and have incurred additional unexpected charges that were never clearly explained. I truly love my car — but the overall experience was very disappointing. *I’m attaching the only photo I took. I wasn’t planning on leaving a review at the time, so I didn’t document everything, but this should give you a clear idea of how the whole trunk was.*
Just got my new Grand Cherokee from Teterboro Jeep, and I couldn’t be happier! Huge thanks to Carlos, Kelvin, and the entire team for making the whole experience so smooth and enjoyable. From the moment I walked in, everyone was welcoming and genuinely helpful — no pressure at all, just great vibes and honest service. Carlos and Kelvin were both amazing! They took the time to answer all my questions, walked me through the options, and made sure I got the exact Jeep I wanted! If you’re looking for a dealership that actually cares and treats you like family, definitely check out Teterboro Jeep. Highly recommend!
Can't say enough great things. Larkyn worked hard to get me the best price possible for the vehicle I wanted. He wasn't pushy, listened to my needs and made it happen. He officially has a client for life. Thanks teterboro and larkin for getting me into the driver seat of my new muscle car.
Please don’t come here if you value your $ and time! Writing out of desperation something gets done. Came for brake pads thought all was good. But brakes kept squeaking. So came back month later & they put a no squeal paint on it. A few weeks later the brakes keep squeaking. They didn’t have available appointments on my off day so went to a diff dodge dealer. Immediately they say well if under warranty we can just switch. They needed to know what parts were used so I called Tetoboro & ask them to fax the initial brake pad info. Wait an hour call back ask if they can just txt me a picture so I can show them but they say they will email. After 4 hours and multiple calls Tetoboro finally faxes. The dealer I was at said they used first line parts instead of original factory issued parts (mind you they charged over the max average to do job in 1st place). That dealership said they don’t use front line parts so I’d have to go back to Tetoboro I go back to Tetoboro wait around 5hrs to be told they did nothing to my car cause they didn’t hear noise. Manager comes out I discuss my concerns. As this is my 4th trip. Explain that I have cancer & work full time. So rarely have off days and have been spending them trying to get car fixed. He says I can wait and they’ll try driving to see if they hear it or I can come back since it’s under warranty and they’ll change. I had a Dr appointment so couldn’t wait longer so I said I’d come back. I drive less than half a mile down the road before I hear noise. At this point I begin to record the squeaking noise on multiple different days so I could show them. I then schedule an appointment for 7am hoping the 5th try would finally resolve the issues. I’m the second person there that day but wait hours and see people come and go who arrived well after me. They then tell me they put no squeal paint again on it. Even though the manager looked me in my eyes and said it’s under warranty next time we can change it if there still an issue. Even though I explained I have cancer and rarely have off days. They still didn’t change it they just put that paint on which is not working. The brakes were squealing immediately after leaving the dealership but I was told give it time to set in. Time was given and today they still squeal. I also offered to play the videos I took but was told they didn’t need to hear them. Also this appointment was originally going to be on a Saturday but after explaining what happened was told to come on a weekday since manager would be there to make sure all was taken care of. I work in retail and don’t want to be a Karen writing a bad review. Maybe if they see this review they will take action. I see they comment on negative reviews trying to rectify the situation. I just want to the service I paid for to be completed. It shouldn’t take 5 visits to change brake pads. Maybe this review and a 6th visit will get the job done. Please avoid this place at all cost. I would recommend the dodge dealer in Englewood cliffs as they were the ones who were ready to immediately fix the situation until they found out what parts were used Posted review above but deleted within 2hrs. Dealership definitely saw as I got a call from the manager. He was apologetic and polite. He had me bring the car to the dealership and gave me a loaner car while they worked on my car. He drove with me in the car so he could hear the noise. He said he thought it was the tire. Spent $1k changed the tires. Go to pick it up. Asked if they tested it out and if the noise was gone. I’m told road tested good to go. Make it 3 lights before noise. So now I’m told I have to go back for a 7th visit. Bringing my car to them for brake pads has been worst decision I’ve made with my vehicle. I haven’t been able to hit the brakes without hearing an annoying noise since they took my vehicle. After playing vid another dodge dealership said they thought it was caliber brackets were machined and they are loose, and that it didn’t sound like tires
Thank you so much Carlos and the team for helping me walk out the lot with a new baby! I truly didn’t know what car I wanted since I was super attached to my last car but Carlos was patient and held my hand through the entire process. He helped me a few years back get the Grand Cherokee and I’m happy he helped me get Willy Wilma now! 🤭 Truly recommend everyone to go to this dealership if you got your eyes set on a Jeep. You will be in good hands!
