After having a few email exchanges with Marc after posting my review, I want to change my rating from 2 stars to 1 star. He offered no customer service as he stated and no offer to make things "right". He seems very defensive and he blamed me, the customer, for the problems. Let the buyer beware! I purchased an MGB from Mark a little over a year ago. As a novice to this, I believed what he said. Turns out the car had been repainted, the number on the engine block wasn't correct and I had to have another $6,000 put into it. Don't get me wrong, my naivete was a contributing factor, BUT you must do your own homework and don't believe everything you see or what your told.
Marc and his team took my exceptional MG to the next level adding some cosmetic upgrades but more importantly took a 47 year old car and made it a modern car with modern car reliability. The team took tremendous care keeping my engine bay looking magnificent. Marc has incredible knowledge of British sports cars and had great advice on what to do to take your car to whatever level you want. I look forward to round two.
If you are in the market for a nice MG or Triumph go somewhere else or at least make sure you get an independent inspection and get any dealings in writing. The car I bought was not as described nor was any of the work done that I paid for. All I have gotten was run arounds and excuses. I am still waiting for money from an apparent sale of a car by them. The car is not listed on their website anymore so I assume it’s sold. They have not answered my emails. Avoid if you can.
I used one of their cars for an engagement shoot and I throughly enjoyed the car and patience/hospitality shown to make my engagement shoot one of the best. Thanks again Marc and Josh. I will definitely recommend! 😀
THE ABSOLUTE WORSE EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE THIS GUY LIED FROM DAY ONE NEVER A STRAIGHT ANSWER and a thief.I brought my car there because it died on the side of the road and I had just bought it and told him I wanted it reliable to do what he needed to do.So he says put in an electronic ignition replace the fuel pump and put on wire wheels he originally told me it would be 1500 to 2000 without the wheels I was fine with that well over 5000 later because we wanted our car out of there I paid I went to pick it up it died in his driveway with no start meanwhile I drove 3 hours to pick it up because I live that far away.He says it's all fixed was a fuel line sucking air ok I pay him in cash because that's all he takes joke.I leave his place make it 40 miles and car dies for good I call him and he tells me I dont no what it needs and leaves me on the side of route 95.We will be contacting a lawyer. He cant keep doing this to people he belongs in jail complete wacko.watch out people I wouldnt bring my bicycle to him.
