We have been loyal to a dealership here in Midland for decades and decided to take a drive to Bay City and give Thelen a try mainly because I have a friend that used to work there. We met a nice young man Matt Cowell. Explained our desires and needs. He ended up selling us what appeared to be a reliable vehicle. But that is when the experience took a nose dive. From the minute we drove off the lot. We called back to our sketchy salesman Matt and was told my warranty doesn’t go into affect for 30 days and I would have to wait until then to have it fixed so the repairs wouldn’t come out of their pocket. I was told they didn’t have any loaner vehicles. Of course our salesman Matt Cowell did not return any phone calls so we could get our problems addressed. After several weeks I finally talked to Mike Thelen. I did get some resolution with Mr Thelen but my experience was a catastrophe. I suspect there are some good salespeople here. I just would not recommend Matt Cowell in any way. Thelen 3 stars. Matt 1 star. Averaged out to 2 stars.

This was our first experience with this dealership and it was a totally positive one! Matt Cowell was so easy to work with and very knowledgeable! He was also very patient and answered all of our questions and found us exactly what we needed that fit within our budget! We will definitely be repeat customers! The whole experience was great!

Got my first Brand New Jeep. I wanted a perfect Jeep that was just for me. Matt Cowell helped find me one and got it to Bay City. Helped me find the best deal and also made sure it was a perfect fit. Also spent some time making sure I knew how to work all the new technology and about the vehicle. Great process and I'm pretty sure I dont have to buy a New Jeep for another 20 years.

Everett was great. Found what we wanted and had us on our way. My only “ding” is it did take quite a long time. Would’ve been nice to have something to keep my children entertained during the wait. Possibly a snack option available (for purchase) for them or some books/toys/coloring/ TV available. It’s hard for young children to wait and sadly I wasn’t able to entertain them the whole time. I would’ve gladly paid for a granola bar or bag of chips at the time. Otherwise we are very satisfied
