Thompson Cadillac Springfield

Bought a LYRIQ from out of state. Vince Hamilton and the finance team handled everything flawlessly. Dealership has a great selection. Staff are all great. Good communication Definitely would buy from them again.

I have been buying from Thompson since “The Thompson Boys” were still in High School. I will say that they have continued to be impressive. My experience today was above and beyond what anyone should expect. I believed the service center to be open until 6 on Saturday and arrived at 5:05. To my surprise, they closed at 5. I walked through the sales door and thought I would just check to see if anyone was still there. As I opened the door to the service area, a gentleman was turning the last lights off. Bummer. He looked over and asked if he could help me with something. I explained I was dropping off a loaner and picking up our serviced vehicle. To my surprise, he said “let’s see if I can help you”. He went back to his computer, fired it back up, found our serviced vehicle ticket, printed it off and went to get our vehicle. Ken Ramey, thank you for exceeding my expectations with an excellent attitude. It is exactly this mentality and work ethic that makes any business owners proud and thankful to have you on board. 🫡

I wanted to take a moment to recommend Thompson Cadillac/Buick/GM in Springfield. I recently purchased a pre-owned vehicle from Thompson and was absolutely pleased with them from start to finish. This is a dealership that is ran like a family with the goal to take care of you! Bobby Duncan, my salesman, was very professional. He not only found the vehicle I was interested in, he made sure it satisfied me. As a follow up to the purchase, Bobby, along with the Thompson service team both promptly ordered me a second keyfob, made sure both the vehicle and FOB were programed correctly and also with the latest software/features, and immediately took care of some additional applications I had purchased for the vehicle. Several weeks after my purchase was complete, I ran into an issue with GM’s On-Star that I was unable to get resolved. This wasn’t an issue caused by the dealership, however, the dealership did not shy away at all in assisting me with the issue. Tyler Thompson, the dealership’s GM, even assisted and ended up resolving that issue with On-Star on my behalf. Tyler and the dealership didn’t need to go that far, but they did because they understand what true customer service is about. I will be back and despite having family who sells cars, will happily recommend Thompson to anyone who is looking for a trustworthy and customer first dealership!

Gregg Blair was and continues to be wonderful with our purchase of a 2024 Cadillac Escalade. Highly recommend him to anyone that is planning on going there.

I want to give a shout out to this dealership. My daughter and her family from Texas were passing through there. They broke down in the middle of nowhere. Ended up having their vehicle towed to this dealership. Obviously it would have been easy to take advantage of them in their time of need, they did not. Thank you.
