# Summary The dealership receives consistent praise from most customers for knowledgeable sales staff, efficient transaction processes, and accommodating service, with particular recognition for salespeople who go above and beyond to meet buyer needs. However, one customer experienced significant frustration with service department delays, poor communication, and repeated failures to diagnose and resolve a transmission issue, ultimately seeking service elsewhere.
Got a Chevy with Rory and we are super happy with the service. They were quick, proffesional, honest and very effective. I looked at the car on monday and had it on friday. He went above and beyond checking out cars, driving back and forth nd making sure I got exactly what I needed! We will be coming back here for sure!
Please go see Darryl! Motivated young brother who will make sure you pick out the right car. And for this area, seeing another person of color meant the world to me! Also, much props to Sean in Finance for his help. The only thing I would say is that he was a bit rough on me and husband at first, which can be concerning, but he knows his stuff and worked magic with the numbers and interest rates. At the end of the day, perception is reality. And Darryl has a bright future ahead of him. He’s young, intelligent, and incredibly patient. If he can handle this girl from New Orleans, then he can handle anyone!
Worked out all of the details via email and text over the course of a week, then drove 3 hours to buy a late model Cadillac. Darryl was great to work with and very accommodating. In spite of some initial hiccups with the paperwork, overall the process was smooth and without issue. First car we've ever bought that came with a full tank of gas!Would highly recommend both TW and Darryl. Thanks!
I was looking for a late 2nd generation used Toyota Tundra Limited for a while and decided it was time to pull the trigger. I had been shopping on cars.com and found a Barcelona red one at Titus. I sent a message through Cars.com and Jonathan called me back and we made an appointment. When I got there he was busy with another customer so Dylan helped me out. I inspected it and we went for about a 15 mile test drive and he asked me if I wanted to go in and talk numbers. I already had a pretty good idea what I wanted to pay after all of the research I had been doing. He had a sheet telling me me what they were asking and I wrote down what I would like to buy it for. I also told him that there were 5 more in western WA or Portland with very close to the same miles and features which was true. Titus was just the closest. He took my offer to the higher up's and came back with the offer accepted. IT WAS THAT EASY. This was the quickest and easiest deal I have ever made at a new car dealership. All in and done in roughly 2 hrs. I paid cash and did not have a trade so that probably sped things up a bit.
SAVE YOURSELF TIME AND MONEY AND GO TO GILCHRIST OF TACOMA: This dealership is honestly so hard to say something positive about. My truck went in for CCV issue last year - sat 8weeks at their lot before repair. I had to call GM HQ to get a rental car after I wasn't informed of how long they would have my truck and they offered me $44 per day for a rental for a Powertrain Warranty fix. So I can pay more while I wait on you? AND they offered me a Malibu to replace my diesel.... No thanks... GM HQ forced their hand and got me a GMC Canyon for a rental. I put 6500 miles on this rental - they gave me another one w 0 miles on it. Month later goes in for the transmission being greasy: they force me to do a service/filter for $690. Ten days later the transmission is greasy again. They say, "no it's not". Two weeks goes by, it's definitely leaking : they agree finally. Week or two later, I have it scheduled for an oil change and they'll look at the transmission during they said : They then keep the truck for 7more weeks without notifying me - and proceed to offer me a Malibu that I pay to rent. Big Nope for me. They rebuild the transmission into a new case : it still has issues. They said it doesn't. I confirm it does w Wheeler in the ride along, he agrees. They agree to get it scheduled after the new year so I can get it in immediately. They suspect the converter is bad. I come back from holiday, they said the earliest opening is March 19th hahahahahha. I went to Gilchrist of Tacoma - they diagnosed the Transmission Valve Body issue immediately (90mins) and got it ordered, and gave me my truck back until the part arrives.
