I reached out to the dealership to inquire about purchasing a new Chevrolet EV. After being informed that they are not currently an EV-certified dealer, I asked a simple follow-up question regarding whether they planned to be in the future. Mr. Keith’s response was a blunt and dismissive “No way!” As a local customer interested in the future of the Chevrolet brand and the Ultium platform, I find this "old school" dismissiveness to be a poor reflection on General Motors. Instead of receiving professional guidance or a referral to an EV-certified partner, I was met with total ignorance and a lack of basic courtesy. I would like this incident to be officially recorded in your dealer performance records for Tolbert Chevrolet. This interaction has ensured that I will be taking my business to a more professional dealership in a neighboring city. I look forward to a confirmation that this complaint has been filed.

Went there at opening time to have a new instrument cluster coded to my car as the original one went south. I was told it would take less than a hour. At 12:: 00 was still there waiting. Then they told me they were having problems doing it. Finally at 1:00 they come out and told me it would probably start working after a few miles,that was two years ago and still not working. Still charged me $150.00.

Called to verify if I had a recall on my vehicle. Gave the representative the last 8 of my vin and briefly described the issue I was having. They check the vin and say they don’t see anything pertaining to what I asked about. That’s fine, but they failed to mention I do have a safety recall for my windshield wipers. Plus, they didn’t even ask if I’d like an appointment. Would have paid the diag. fee to get some answers at least. Either way, one of the service writers is costing this dealership $. Not very professional in my opinion.

Had my alternator replaced I January. Started having the same problems with the car so I took it back to them. I had already put a brand new battery in it and the battery was dead the next day. When I dropped it off it went dead and wouldn’t crank back. They kept it 5 weeks said they couldn’t find anything wrong with it. The day after I picked it up the door locks and gages started going crazy and it went dead. They did absolutely nothing but change the oil and it took 5 weeks and my car is still not fixed.

Was told they did not want to waste my time , that I would be better off going elsewhere. Because I’ve had a successful life without the help of any creditor. Hey but if you don’t work and have managed to get a loan in the past you never paid dime back on, your in luck. You have a better chance. Because you have a history of not paying which is as trail of history they can physically see on paper and are more comfortable with than no history even if you had a million dollar salary. The last part not about this place just creditor/finance in general. So I figured I would inform some truth not many understand because it just that rediculous but true.
