Hats off to Brandon Tomes Subaru Service Dept. in McKinney! Late last month I was unable to start my car due to wheel lock. After numerous unsuccessful attempts, the service dept. sent Dennis to my location (3:30 PM on a Saturday afternoon), and he fixed the problem right away! No charge. Following up, I took my car to the service dept. for an inspection, which was done while I waited, and, again, no charge. This is truly exceptional service!

Driving back from Houston to Dallas and the driver cut me off at 90 miles per hour with his cell phone in hand. Please talk to this driver and help make the road safer. Seriously he was driving crazy!!!

CHECK YOUR INVOICE. I recently had a truck brought in to assess damages. Our truck was there for 2 days to determine what all needed to be done. When I received the invoice the break down showed almost 800 dollars alone in miscellaneous charges/fees . these charges/ fees included on the invoice are Admin fee : 400.00, Repair plan/ blueprint fee : 350.00 . They charge an $95 day storage fee just to be on the lot on top of another $165.00 per day fee if it is stored inside. not including the original day fee. All in all for 2 days of having our truck there not including the items necessary to assess damages they charged a whopping 800.00 IN FEES ALONE.

Terrible service!!!! Took my wifes vehicle in for a very simple repair. The service advisor was very slow, confused and a little rude. Only needed to have a piece of trim on the outside pillar between the drivers door and windshield replaced because it flew off driving down the road. I called ahead of going to the dealer to be sure they had it in stock and did not need to order it, which they did have it the part in stock. Should have been only a 15 min fix. Was told it would be 24hrs to fix it due to paperwork. Well, it took them 4 days!!! The service advisor did not reach out to keep me updated, I had to keep calling in at the end of each day for status. Was only given the explanation of "we're busy". The service advisor notified me when I dropped off the vehicle that there was a recall that needed to be performed and he would take care if it while they had the vehicle. When I picked it up on the 4th day, he did not remember the recall needing to be done (even though it was printed on the documents he gave me) and fumbled over his words making excuses about why it wasn't done and he thought they didn't have the parts (he didn't check, just made that up on the fly). My vehicle is new and still under the full factory 3yr, 36k mile warranty. I was never offered to get a loaner while they had my vehicle on any of the 4 days from the day I dropped it off to the 4th day when I picked it up. This is only the 2nd time I have gone to this dealership in 8 years and is the 2nd bad experience I have had. The first time I went to Bob Tomes was to purchase a brand new F150 Platinum truck. They were rude and unhelpful so I left and bought my truck from another dealer in Frisco which is further away from where I live. I have since purchased a total of 5 other brand new Platinum and Titanium level vehicles from Autonation Ford in Frisco and been nothing but happy!! Bob Tomes is much closer to me so I would rather have had my home dealer closer. I only used them for this recent repair because they had the pillar part in stock as my Autonation dealer did not. As this should have been a quick fix and I needed it done quickly as my wife was going out of town and this is her vehicle. Well, she ended up taking my truck because her vehicle was not ready. I had no vehicle to drive and had to work from home for 4 days. More inconvenience... . This place is horrible and does not at all care about its customers. Avoid the headaches and just don't go to Bob Tomes Ford for anything!!!
