I had such a pleasant car buying experience here! I worked with Carter, Juan, and Ralfii. They were all incredibly professional, and never ever did I get the vibe of feeling pushed around. I took a good chunk of time to figure out what vehicle I was going to purchase (I think like a week lol) and they were all very responsive to questions, and always happy to help me. I also dealt with Candy the manager, who was so kind & very friendly as well! AND, I also have to give a shout to Chad in the finance department, super chill and friendly, as well as super knowledgeable with any questions I had while signing paper work! Overall, 10/10 experience! I’m very grateful for all the kindness and patience that I was shown throughout the whole process! I’m very happy with my explorer :) thank you again Tonkin Hillsboro Ford!! I would ABSOLUTELY give them my business again.

First time visit for this vehicle. I was surprised that no one greeted me outdoors as that has been my experience at other dealerships. But I found someone to assist me and the experience only got greater from there. Efficient with their communication, saw her take a video of my car and the oil change was completed quickly and efficiently. Thank you.

This was my first financed purchase ever!! I worked with Juan and Rosa. Let me tell you, I've heard horror stories about purchasing a vehicle at the dealer before!!! This dealer right here is the best most welcoming place I've been in!! Helpful, quick, respectful and most warming crew of ppl to work with. I highly suggest them to anyone

I had a wonderful experience with the service center when they fixed my gear shifter. Valentina was incredibly friendly and helpful. She explained everything clearly and kept me informed throughout the entire process. I’ll definitely return to work with her again! The service team did an amazing job with the fix.

DETAILING SERVICE! WILL NEVER GO AGAIN! I went to Tonkin about a month ago for a car detailing because I was guarenteed an excellent service. When I showed up for my appointment, I was not found in the system at all and they tried to give me a higher price quote from what I was told on the phone. I thought maybe I had went to the wrong place so as soon as I started to leave, I called back the number to where I called and it went straight to them. Not sure what the mix up was, so I talked to the manager, who was actually extremely understanding and nice, very pleasant woman. She offered me the quote I was originally was told over the phone. Great! I told them my main focus was getting the cigarette smoke out because I recently bought the car from a smoker and the smell was starting to affect me and my kids, I told them I wanted it O-Zoned and they said they would do it. About 3 hours later they call me to come pick up my car, first thing I noticed was that the glass on the outside had splotches all over and there was still dirt in the creveces, I swiped my finger across and it was full of dirt. I then smelled my car and the smell was only masked. I had asked the guy if they ozoned it and he said NO. So they were planning to give me my car back without doing the one thing I asked of them. There was also a big stain on the interior of my roof i wanted them to remove but they never did. I was frustrated to say the least, considering I paid over $400 for this service. I had to leave it over night for them to ozone it. When I came the next day it smelled a lot better but more of a masked smell and the stain was still there. In my opinion if someone is paying this much for a detailing service it should be cleaned as if it were going to be put on the lot. I feel like I wouldve saved so much money if I wouldve just bought an $80 ozone machine off amazon and use my portable carpet cleaner that I already have and it wouldve came out the same. Which ultimatley Im going to have to do because since they didnt clean the roof interior where most of the smoke smell is, the smoke smell is now back. Im very dissapointed in the detailing that cost so much money. The only thing that helped was their manerism because they were nice people. But the detailing itself was a 2/10! Wouldnt reccomend!
