I seriously can’t thank Spencer enough! I was actually on vacation when I decided to buy my Bronco, and he made the entire process so easy from start to finish. He went above and beyond to help me get into my dream car and worked hard to make sure I got the pricing I wanted. Buying a car can be stressful, especially when you’re not even in town, but Spencer made everything feel completely seamless. He was always quick to answer my questions, kept me updated throughout the process, and genuinely cared about making sure I was happy with my purchase. I don’t post reviews very often but need to share how impressed and satisfied we are with our experience and purchase. We had got rear ended and needed to buy a new car which is always a stressful thing. My boyfriend visited every dealership in Salem and at some places had awful experiences. Nothing was what we were looking for and the service at every place wasn’t great. We decided to make the drive up to Tonkin Nissan. We saw the reviews and were highly impressed but also still stressed out about the whole thing because of past experiences. As soon as we arrived we were greeted and then brought to Rickey. We had scheduled a test drive for a Kia Soul which he showed us to then took it a on a drive. When we got back my boyfriend was looking underneath the hood and took the oil cap off to see if there was a milky color and consistency (something he’s learned from experience that isn’t a good thing). Before he could even get the cap off Rickey said “Check to make sure there’s no milkshake” and then told him to smell the cap for gasoline. There wasn’t either. He said if there’s a smell of gasoline or a milky color to always walk away. We were really impressed that he said that to us because no other person had. We knew they weren’t “fixing” a car to run for a few weeks before breaking down to make a sale. My boyfriend and I talked it over and wanted to move forward with buying it. We asked to negotiate the price a bit and Rickey instantly said he’s sure that’s something they can do. We went inside and went through the pricing of every thing after taking some money off then went through the loan approval. Throughout the whole process Rickey was super friendly, honest, attentive and making us feel really comfortable. He was never pushy or aggressive about making a sale like the other salespeople we encountered at other places were. He told us they take care of their customers there and if something ever happens to give him a call and he’ll help us figure things out. The overall process was super easy and stress free. I see why they have the ratings they have and would definitely recommend anyone to go there to purchase a vehicle. This will definitely be our lifetime dealership whenever we need a new car.

I was having trouble getting the car I really wanted but with the help of the people at Tonkin Wilsonville Nissan they made it happen for me with an agreeable rate. The staff was kind and positive. Spencer Foster made sure I was comfortable and treated me respectfully and professionally. He showed me my options and let me decide which deal was comfortable for me without pushing me into a decision. I could tell they were working hard for me to get what I wanted and make it a fair deal. I walked in unsure and left smiling!

I didn't end up buying a car from this dealership just because I was looking for used and just bad luck that they never had anything that fit my parameters, but I had a great experience there and dealing with Rob Thurman. Outstanding communication. Laid back, no pressure approach. I work in sales too and it's great to deal with someone who knows it's what's best for the customer, not what they can push you to buy. He actively looked every where he could to find the right car for me, but like I said I was picky haha.
