Husband took our car in for an oil change. We paid $93 for them to inspect a few things but no oil change was done. When we called, Jay said the computer never told them it needed an oil change. That is what we took it in for. We have some travel coming up and wanted it serviced. Shouldn't they do as we asked?Sales team great, service very poor.

Brought my truck in for an oil change and winter tires to be put on. It took them nearly four hours to complete and they scratched my rim. Left my truck overnight for them to replace the damaged rim only to find it hadn't been done and they tried to charge me for the wheel they damaged. The sales department is great but avoid the service department as they are incompetent

The staff at the counters are super! The mechanics too, however, I went in to do an oil change that I was certain was covered by the very expensive warranty that I bought. There were supposed to be 6 free oil changes but that is not so. I had to pay for this one, the 4th. I went to complain to the owner and he pretty much brushed me off when I told him I wasn't informed of this stipulation ( that oil changes had to be done every 6 months or before 48000km). I am a senior that doesn't drive much so stats will be different from a working person. No? The owner was very indifferent and actually told me I should take it up with the Peterborough dealership where I bought it. So much for representing your brand. Weeks later I stopped at the Toyota dealership in Kanata where they fixed a piece of trim that was loose, no charge, and the woman at the service desk looked up the details of my extended warranty. She confirmed that I was indeed covered up to 80000 km or 4 years. I ended up calling head office as well and they confirmed this. I was issued a refund from Tri Town. The regional manager apologized for his employee's rudeness.

The service here used to be great. It’s really gone downhill. Got a recall alert on my vehicle yesterday. My husband called to book an appointment this morning and was told to bring it in this afternoon and they would take care of it. When he showed up we weren’t in the system as they didnt bother putting in an appointment. When we went to go pick up the vehicle we only found out from reading the receipt that they didn't bother dealing with the recall issue because they didn’t have a technician available. So all they did was an oil change and didnt even bother telling us they couldn’t deal with the other issues face to face. If you know there is no technician book the appointment on a day you will have one in house. And communicate with your patrons. It’s not that hard to call the phone number on file to follow up. This is after months of horrible communication and service. We have been regular patrons here for 14 years and I miss the quick and efficient service we used to get here.
