# Summary Positive reviewers praise the dealership for exceptional customer service, knowledgeable sales staff, quick turnaround times, and a friendly, small-town atmosphere that made their purchasing experiences smooth and pleasant. However, negative reviewers report serious concerns including misrepresentation of vehicle mileage, poor communication during service appointments, and significantly higher-than-standard diagnostic and labor charges.

Cannot say enough great things about Tyrrell Chevrolet in Cheyenne! We were traveling 7 hours from home, had an issue with our truck, pulled in to the closest dealership we could find, and are so lucky it was Tyrrell! They had parts in stock and had us back on the road quickly. If I could give 10 stars for the customer service experience I would. From the minute we walked in the door they took excellent care of us and our truck!! Thank you Terrell team, you are absolutely amazing!!

Amazing dealership. Our salesman Blake Lanning was above and beyond. At our age, we have both bought a lot of new and used vehicles. Never have we had this easy, smooth, fast and pleasant of an experience. Thanks to every department. So local, small town feel, friendly. You are missing out if you do not give this dealership a shot AND Blake Lanning! Thank you Tyrrell, Jodee & Mark Zitek

We drove 80 miles to look at a new Honda Pilot Black edition advertised with 204 miles on it. When we got there they had to clean out the vehicle because the GM was using it “for a demo yesterday” we drove it around, loved the vehicle when we pulled back in to the parking lot I thought ‘why does Trip A say 5,122 mi’ look down and sure enough this car has 5,122 miles on it!!! A “NEW” Honda Pilot Black edition that the GM has absolutely been driving the wheels off of, using someone else’s warranty while not paying the payment. Absolutely disgusted! Car guru says that that specific vehicle has been on the lot for 92 days which means in 3 months he has put 5,000 miles on a vehicle they are selling as new. I just hope this review finds whoever it’s supposed to and that things are handled accordingly.

They only get two stars because Melissa was a bright light in our horrible service experience. If you don't want to read the back story and just want the why for my rating, skip to the *** We lost a belt outside of Chugwater and limped our Chevy truck to Cheyenne. I had lived there 16 years before and bought a vehicle from them then and had a great experience, so I saw no reason not to take our truck there to get diagnosed. We were in a crunch and needed to get to DIA by 3pm, so I called ahead and asked what the chances were they could get it diagnosed and/or repaired and told them about our crunch. We had already been on the road for 4.5 hours and it was about noon at this point. I was told, yes guys are starting to filter to lunch but there was a really good chance they could get it looked at quickly for us. When we got there, they immediately got our truck pulled in, so I had hope. After waiting with no word from anyone for 45 minutes, we starting thinking that we might need to make other plans. So I was calling car rental agencies and my husband was calling friends we had in Cheyenne. We quickly found a friend who had an extra vehicle we could borrow if we could get to his place. Tyrrell Doyle has a courtesy car that will take you anywhere within 10 miles. Our friends place was 11. So he had to go seek approval to get us that extra mile. Which took about an hour. I was watching the clock close on our window. We were told during this time, several times by several people, that our car was being looked at. This was now about one pm. We were told at 1:15pm that they got approval for us to be driven that extra mile. But by then it was too late to make that happen and get to DIA on time, and I wasn't confident a rental car company could get me a car in 15 minutes, let alone then getting me to the rental car company. So we gave up on the hope of getting to Denver and waited to hear the verdict of our vehicle. Around 2pm they came and told us it was going to be $3300 to fix. We asked if they could just make it driveable enough for us to get back to Sheridan and they said no, because all parts were 2 business days out. This was a Friday mind you. Our options were to get a hotel for 4 or 5 nights, rent a car for 4 or 5 days and drive to Sheridan and then back to Cheyenne to get the truck, or what we finally opted for, rent a Uhaul with a car trailer and drive it back to Sheridan that way. We told them we would need a drive to the Uhaul location and they said no problem, but we would need to pay the diagnostic charge first. *** Diagnostic charge? No where in Wyoming have I had to pay a diagnostic charge! We went to pay it, and it was $210!!!!! $185 of it was for looking at the vehicle, so I am only assume that is their hourly rate. That is highway robbery!!!! No wonder our estimate was so high! The lack of communication was astounding. Apparently they are under new ownership since I was last there. They have a fancy drive through scanner for your vehicle which is cool, but I'm sure some of the basis for the high labor charge. For a larger town they weren't that busy, which should have been a clue, but we didn't have many options since we had lost steering and brakes when the belt broke. Unless you want to pay an exorbitant amount to have your car fixed, I would find somewhere else. Some of the people were nice enough which is the only reason for 2 stars. I won't be going back ever.
