# Summary The dealership receives sharply divided customer feedback, with satisfied buyers praising the owner's knowledge, fair pricing negotiations, and reliable inventory selection, while dissatisfied customers report issues with pricing transparency, communication, and accuracy of vehicle descriptions regarding odors and smoking history. The polarized review pattern suggests significantly different experiences depending on individual transactions and customer interactions.

Really positive experience buying a used car from Bob at University Auto Brokers. He was kind, straightforward and knowledgeable. He's worked in the auto business all his life, mostly in Gainesville. He gave us pointers on how to save money at the tag agency and made suggestions on trusted local businesses where we could get an extra key and a needed repair. He intentionally builds his inventory with cars that are reliable and affordable for folks on a budget. He was very reasonable in negotiating on the price when an inspection revealed a few repairs were needed for the car we wanted. Having read the negative review below, I asked on the phone if the car had any strong odors. He was straightforward in telling me that he did not notice any, but that everyone's nose is different. I found no odor myself when I came to see the car, and really appreciated that he answered so honestly and fairly. We don't all smell things the same, do we? Anyway, University Auto Brokers. From my experience, good people and good cars.

Asked gentleman to reduced price of $8k car to $7k bc I'm borrowing $500 to get to the 7k. Said gentleman said he could do $7400 and the tag fee and tax would be $600 bringing the price back full circle to the $8k I originally told him I could not afford. And I got my own tag!!!!! If you look at review ratings people are either thrilled at 5 stars or upset with a high percentage of 1 star reviews. Tells me a lot guys, what it tells you? That's my two cents.

Un-professional and extremely poor customer service. I was looking at buying a vehicle through whoever 'Bob Beville' is (owner) and was asking for simple information about the truck. He was very avoidant on answering any questions and had an attitude whenever I asked for clarification. I would NOT trust this dealer nor would I trust any of these 5 star reviews; there's a reason others have had my same experience or worse.

I bought a 2005 Honda Element off of eBay from this dealership and was very specific about wanting a non smokers vehicle. I was completely misled and did not find out the truth until the vehicle arrived in California and smelled like it had been smoked in every day of its life. There is no gray area in this transaction just another dishonest used car dealer. When made aware of the situation it was denial denial denial. Caveat Emptor
