I’ve sold cars at a new car dealership, and I do most of the work on my own vehicles, including major jobs like timing belt replacements. So when my old car’s A/C compressor failed in the middle of an Arizona July, I knew what I was in for. The engine bay was tight, bolts were seized, and after hours in 104-degree heat, my wife convinced me to throw in the towel. Rather than take it to a shop, we decided to look at a Ford Escape we’d been eyeing at Valley Auto Wholesalers. I called and spoke to Pete. He was clearly busy but still took the time to be helpful and professional. We drove up from Yuma to Mesa, and Pete handed us the keys and a temp plate, letting us test drive the car for as long as we wanted. We’d done our research, and although the vehicle had high mileage, it was a well-maintained fleet car. I even ran my OBD2 scanner—no codes, no issues. My first impression: these guys don’t sell junk. The car drove great, and I made an offer. Joe, the salesperson, was out of town but still responded quickly so we could get a deal going. Pete handled the paperwork smoothly and treated us like we’d just bought a Ferrari. He was prompt, accurate, and the last thing he said was, “If anything goes wrong, just give us a call.” That stuck with me. It’s rare to find that kind of service and attitude in car sales. Joe and the team were very professional. They treated us with respect, answered our questions completely and tried to make sure we were aware of some things to watch out for on one of the vehicles we came to see. They keep a meticulously clean inventory and try to make the buying process as streamlined as possible. Although we ended up choosing a different car from another place, I was very impressed during my time at Valley Auto. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a great deal on a reliable pre-owned auto!

Pete is an awesome guy and gives you different options for parts. He gave me a great deal on front struts and mount with a lifetime warranty. He also fixed some minor damage of my bumper and tightened loose bolts in my brakes without charging me or telling me to take it somewhere to fix it. I highly recommend this shop.
