Volkswagen of Perrysburg

Stay away! We recently purchased a vehicle. After spending hours there, myself saying we won’t reach an agreement, them trying to sell us hidden stuff. At first Charlie came back with a 590-600 a month payment, after I had told him multiple times that wouldn’t work. The tone changed, after I said I was walking out of the door, and not purchasing a vehicle. All of sudden the payment came down 200 dollars a month. If I was not there, they would have fully taken advantage of my wife. Financing was a mess. There was a lot of miss communication. They told us stuff could change, but everything was approved. They let us take the vehicle home, without ever running the financing through the bank that day. They waited until 2 days later to send it to the bank. Then demanded that we do something about it instantly for a mistake that they made. Either bring the vehicle back, and/or tried backing us into corner to use a much higher interest rate than what was on the SIGNED contract. I will never purchase another vehicle through this dealership. By far the worst experience I’ve had. Ultimately we ended up going out on our own, and financing through a different bank. We also took a warranty through our bank, and dropped their much more expensive warranty that at first they took off the purchase, then threw it in there at end. Read the fine print as well. They will not refund you, your down payment. Then the bank we used was going to over night them a check. They yet again messed up the paperwork, the bank could not overnight a check due to paperwork not being correct. Then proceeded to demand that a check be there the same day. For yet another mistake on their end.

Purchasing a vehicle from Volkswagen of Perrysburg was the best car buying experience I have ever had!
