Volkswagen on Regent - Birchwood

I purchased a 2026 Tiguan last week and the main reason I returned to Birchwood Volkswagen was because of Tom. I had actually sold my previous daily driver to another VW dealership in Manitoba that offered nearly double the value Tom initially offered for my car. However, I still decided to come back to Birchwood VW because Tom had been patiently trying to help me find the right vehicle since 2024, and I wanted to give him the opportunity to earn my business. The dealership itself is very clean, modern, and has a large selection of vehicles. The coffee machine in the showroom is a nice touch as well. Tris, the finance manager, was also excellent. She was very friendly and managed to complete all the financing paperwork for us quickly and smoothly. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.

My daughter purchased a used 2022 Honda Pilot Black Edition out of province shipped to Alberta. Initial sales very up front, disclosing what I thought was everything. We received the vehicle and took it for an Out of Province inspection, back rotors were warped and front pads and rotors uneven, all needed to be replaced. Even though the dealership inspection paper that was sent indicated brakes passed inspection and you felt a severe shudder when braking . Birchwood compensated for new rotors and pads. I understand it was a used vehicle but many scratches and severe rim curb rash that had not been disclosed. They had waiting on a quote to repair estimate the scratches but we have never heard back from the dealership. Poor interior detailing as well when we received for a dealership vehicle it looked like a quick wipe down. They had also only shipped one FOB as well with the vehicle they have since sent the other FOB. Not sure I would purchase out of province again.

I am so happy and glad that I made contact with the sales department. It led me to meet in-person with the used cars salesman. We shook hands. I was impressed. After all my history of major purchases of vehicles in the past, this interaction made me feel welcome and appreciated by the sales team entirely, including the finance manager.

It was a good experience for me. I bought Jetta sports comfort-line 2026. Sheral helped me a-lot and guided me with everything. I suggest everyone to meet sheral once before buying. She will provide you great deal 😊
