Leasing this car turned out to be one of the most frustrating and misleading experiences I’ve ever had with a dealership. From the start, everything seemed straightforward—monthly payments, mileage limits, basic terms. What wasn’t made clear at any point was the so-called “disposition fee” waiting for me at the end of the lease. This fee was never properly explained, highlighted, or discussed in any meaningful way. It felt deliberately buried in fine print, and no one took the time to make sure I actually understood it. Fast forward to lease-end, and suddenly I’m being charged hundreds of dollars just for returning the car—something I assumed was part of the lease agreement I’d already been paying for all along. It feels incredibly deceptive. If a company is going to charge a mandatory fee like this, it should be clearly and transparently disclosed upfront—not hidden behind paperwork and rushed signing processes. Instead, I was left feeling blindsided and taken advantage of. Leasing is already complicated enough, but this experience made it clear that the dealership cares more about squeezing extra money out of customers than being honest. I would strongly advise anyone considering leasing here to read every single line and ask direct questions—because they certainly won’t volunteer this information themselves. Overall, a disappointing and untrustworthy experience. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this dealership to anyone.

We had such a great experience with Tarek at South Coast VW! I came in looking to upgrade my Tiguan to an Atlas, and I fell in love with the one right in the showroom. He truly went above and beyond to make it happen for us. He was patient, transparent, and really worked with us to get everything within our budget without any pressure. You can tell he genuinely cares about his customers and wants to make the deal work for you. Highly recommend asking for Tarek if you’re in the market!

After shopping all over Southern California as well as Phoenix and Tucson Arizona we found our VW Jetta SE at South Coast Volkswagen. My wife and I have purchased 5 VW’s here sense 1998 it was Commonwealth VW back then we should have just bought here to begin with. I could have saved a lot of time and stress. Ron in sales was excellent very knowledgeable , never felt pressured. Shawn the sales manager was the same, very nice to work with and everything he promised was delivered no surprises. Also if you need service on your VW they are one of the best. Even when we lived out of the area we would plan our trips back to the area to include a service visit at South Coast Volkswagen.
