# Summary The dealership receives overwhelmingly negative reviews citing issues with service pricing discrepancies, long wait times, incomplete work, staffing shortages, and poor communication, though one customer praised exceptional individual employees who went above and beyond during an emergency tire repair. Most reviewers express frustration with the service department's reliability and recommend seeking alternative repair options, while one positive experience highlights the potential for excellent service when staff prioritize customer needs.

Where to begin? A few months ago I brought my 2019 Volvo to get an oil change and tire rotation. Oil change was done, but only 2 tires were rotated. Service manager was apologetic, checked the cameras, but couldn't verify or refute that tires were rotated properly. Volvo service batting 0-1. Today, I had an appointment to get a 80K service done. Booked online, with the price showing as $413.95 for the service. I arrive, and am told that the actual cost is north of $800. What gives? If your price is wrong, either fix it or remove it. Service advisor tries to tell me that it's the starting price. When you book an appointment, they know what type of vehicle you are bringing in, so I'm calling BS. When I asked to speak to a service manager, I get told he's out until next week. No attempt to mediate on the part of staff. I approached a sales manager who saw the price and agreed that it was an issue. He called the service manager, who asked his staff to reduce the price and give me a new quote. After sitting and waiting for an hour, nothing. Walked to the back lot, and saw my vehicle just parked there. Asked for my car back and left. TLDR: Don't patronize this business. Find yourself a independent Volvo mechanic who respects your time and business. I did, and that 80k service that I got quoted at over $800 will cost you $490. Never bringing a vehicle to this service center again.

This Volvo dealership only has one certified Volvo technician to work on cars requiring warranty work. My 2023 XC40 would not start and this dealership would not accept a tow for warranty work because the one technician was on leave. They had no onsite contingency plan for the one Volvo tech being out. I was told to have the car towed to the Cary dealership which is 65 miles away! This is a troubling situation not to mention the inconvenience since I purchased the car and live in Fayetteville. I would also like to point out that it is difficult to get someone to answer the phone and after calling numerous times, I was forwarded to a service agent whose voicemail was full. In contrast, the Cary Dealership has outstanding customer service and despite the distance, I will be bringing my car there in the future.

During my recent service visit, my experience was amazing. We had a tire blow out on I95 while we were driving from South Carolina home to Pennsylvania. It was really Important to us to get our car fixed right away. The staff was very busy with a very full schedule. But, they could see our distress and stepped up to help when they could have just told us that it would have to wait. Instead, everyone was so kind while making sure that they did just what we needed done. I would particularly like to call out Allison, who managed our service both professionally and with compassion. She stayed late to make certain that everything was done correctly. She would not leave until we did. I was so impressed by her. I would also like to call out Jason. We had a minor hiccup after we left the shop and came back this morning. Jason quickly and very kindly took care of the issue right away and answered all of my many questions so that we could get back on the road confidently. He even refused a tip I offered, saying “it was MY pleasure to take care of your vehicle and you”. I am extremely fortunate that Volvo Cars of Fayetteville has such a fantastic service team. I thank them from the bottom of my heart and want them to know that we made it home safely because of their amazing service.

Do not go to the Volvo service in Fayetteville for anything. They will get your car not call you or fix your car. If you attempt to contact anyone to find out about your vehicle you'll just get the run around. It's been a month my vehicle still not fixed and part that I paid for they won't allow me to get it due to it being billed out to a tech that still hasn't touched the vehicle. This is my third appointment and my vehicle is just sitting.
