Engine fault light ON: Unacceptable Service Delay – XC90 T8 Recharge I am writing to formally express my deep disappointment and frustration with the level of service I have received from your team regarding my recent service request for my 2021 Volvo XC90 T8 Recharge. I wish to make it absolutely clear that this is not a minor inconvenience — this is a serious safety concern. I explicitly explained to your service representative that my vehicle is displaying an engine fault, the hybrid system glitches, the constant all wheel drive mode isn’t available and that I regularly drive with my 8-month-old child on board. A fault of this nature is not something that can wait three weeks just to diagnose, let alone waiting for weeks for parts to turn up and another week for a service slot. It is a safety hazard, and I expected it to be treated as one. Despite my clear explanation, the representative showed complete indifference and offered no solution other than to direct me to their manager, Mahesh. However, I was told that Mahesh was unavailable, apparently occupied in meetings for the entire day, with no indication of when I could expect a callback or resolution. This level of disregard for a customer’s safety — particularly when a young child is involved — is deeply troubling and entirely unacceptable. My vehicle is covered under an active extended warranty, and I expect Volvo to honour its commitment to prompt and responsible service. This is not how Volvo used to be with safety and reliability. I am looking to escalate this case with Volvo as high up as possible.
