# Summary The dealership receives polarized reviews, with some customers praising exceptional service from individual staff members like Todd and J.D., who provided attentive and respectful assistance, while others report serious concerns including unprofessional behavior, safety issues with vehicle sales, and poor follow-up from management. The contrasting experiences suggest inconsistent service quality that may depend heavily on which employees customers interact with.
I had a very disappointing and unsafe experience with Robert Loehr Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Cartersville. On November 13, 2025, I purchased a 2019 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 that was sold to me already tuned and heavily modified. Within the first week of ownership (under 200 miles), the vehicle experienced multiple dangerous failures. While driving on the highway, the car suddenly lost power and effectively stopped, entering a fail-safe condition where the transmission disengaged or behaved as if placed into neutral. This forced me to pull over in traffic and restart the vehicle just to continue driving. This occurred multiple times, including within the first week of ownership, and has triggered knock sensor faults and a check engine light. Given that the dealership knowingly sold a heavily modified performance vehicle, they should have ensured the vehicle was operating safely before selling it. Sudden power loss on the highway is an extreme safety risk and could easily result in a serious accident. The most frustrating part was dealing with The service manager Scott Brinks (If that’s actually his name). Scott was extremely unprofessional and dismissive, showing no concern for my safety and repeatedly hiding behind the vehicle being sold “used, as-is” instead of addressing the dangerous nature of the issue. I also spoke with the used car sales manager, “JW,” who told me to wait about 15 minutes while he spoke with upper management. I waited from roughly 3:55 PM to 5:25 PM, only to be told later that he had left for the day without any follow-up. The dealership’s only offer was to replace the knock sensor, refusing to address the root cause, which appears to be an unsafe, overly aggressive tune. This issue could be properly resolved by simply paying to have the vehicle safely retuned, and I have access to a reputable, qualified performance tuning shop capable of doing so. Instead, I was told that if the issue continued, I would need to keep bringing the car back or travel over 50 miles to another dealership. I am now forced to pay out of pocket to have the car retuned elsewhere if I wouldn’t like to continue risking having this same problem and or others. For a dealership selling modified, high-performance vehicles, the lack of professionalism, accountability, and concern for customer safety is unacceptable. I would strongly caution anyone considering doing business here.
Todd my service advisor made my experience 5 stars today! He went above and beyond and made me feel comfortable with the repairs needed + understanding the recalls. This can be unnerving as a woman who doesn’t know all the car terms but he made me feel super comfortable. I’ll be going back to him next time for sure!!
Top notch experience and service here, just bought a 2023 Toyota Camry with 24,000 miles that is super clean from these gentle souls and the love and respect they showed me and my family is unmatchable. My father bought a truck from them a few years back and suggested I try them out and man was I impressed super simple, super respectful. First off Lydell met us outside to greet my father(and myself) and during our initial meeting he said “I try my best to help where I can” and I soon learned he meant every word. Second Moe the sashes guy went above and beyond to make sure things ran smoothly and we were taken care of and Mr. Robert Loehr the owner was one of the humblest men I’ve ever met. Then the Finance manager Mo got us an even better deal than we even expected and was done in no time. To be honest I didn’t even think to go shop here for a Toyota. But I’m grateful to my father I did. This dealership deserves 5 stars + nothing less. We will be back for many years to come. Thank you from my family to yours. Weldon Reeves
Great experience with J.D. buying a used Ford Expedition Max. Great customer service and such a welcoming environment for the whole family. Traveled from a few hours away to see a used car. J.D. and the team at Loehr CDJR had us there for less than three hours. Test drive, financing, and a car wash. Awesome! Thank you!!
I have purchased more than a few new vehicles in my lifetime and can unequivocally say that this is the worst dealership that I have ever delt with, period. Though there were two people there who were nice and helpful, an older guy who was dressed nice and directed me to the finance office when my sales rep disappeared, and a young gentleman who had helped me via text, my sales person was too busy visiting and singing along with the country music that was blaring. I come from the mind that folks who work in car dealerships are professionals, well dressed, polite and helpful. However, when you stop by Robert Loehr Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM SRT and FIAT, you will find ratty shorts and bon fire-getting drunk attire. Less I mention the fact that my salesperson was spitting his pinch slobber every 30 seconds regardless of where he was. I am not sure why a someone owning such an impressive business would allow his or her employees to chew and spit like a disgusting pig right in front of, in ear-shot of as well as smell shot of a customer. Truly an offensive display. I never got any paperwork, never got the container of def fluid they said they placed in my shinny new truck. The rep filled out the many checklists as complete when most of the items had never been mentioned. The finance guy, though very very fast and efficient at processing the paperwork had the personality of an angry rock. My how things have changed over the years. When I arrived at the establishment I was excited and happy, when I left I was pissed off and angry. So if this review seems a bit lopsided I can assure you it is sadly accurate and real. I will never do business with them again and you should think twice before giving them yours. A silver lining? Yes. I will say that the truck I bought is fantastic and upon waking up the next day my experience with the dealership had begun to wane.
