I had a great experience with West Herr Toyota of Canandaigua—especially working with Javon. I actually already had a deposit down at another Toyota dealership and was stuck in the “waiting for an allocation” phase (you know… that mysterious timeline where nobody really knows when your car will show up). When West Herr reached out, I was upfront about it. They asked if I’d be open to switching if they could find the right vehicle first—fair question, and I said yes. From there, Javon and his managers really went to work. They weren’t just waiting around—they were calling multiple dealerships and actively tracking down exactly what I was looking for. Sure enough, they pulled it off and secured a Toyota Sienna that matched my specs. The best part? They matched the deal I already had—no games, no hassle. I went to this dealership, I wanted to trade in my car and get something newer. My Credit is not very good due to divorce a like 6 years ago. I wanted to get the car on my own if I could. My husband I have now said ok, if you can not let me know. My sister was also going to get a car as well. The day before Last Friday I had worked a 16 hour shift. So I really did not want to get dressed up. I did not look homeless just not dressed up. It’s started off good Ryan was our sales man. He keep brushing me off, acting like I didn’t matter, I waited for hours for him to help me, every once in a while he would act like he was, but was not. My sister was signing for her car towards 5 o clock. I than really started to get up set I told someone about it. Than really nice man came out and said he would help me on Monday. I was like ok. Than Ryan came over called me outside to talk to me. He told me listen the banks got back to me, said you would need a 10,000 dollar or more down for them to approve the loan and than he said I know you don’t have that, so you have to keep the car you have. I was very disappointed and sad. He never asked if I had the money or any other options. So I didn’t ask if there was anything else we could do I just thanked him, called my husband, he meet me at a lot by his work,and before 7pm I drove away with a 2026 Chevy Trailblazer. My husband has really good credit, we didn’t even need a down payment. It was a good thing it happened because I got a way better car, I also was treated like I mattered even in my comfort clothes. If you do go to this lot, make sure you dress up, and hope your sales person is not a guy named Ryan.
