I purchased a Dodge Ram 1500 about a month ago, and my experience has been extremely disappointing. During the test drive, I immediately noticed several issues with the truck. It needed an alignment, one of the side mirrors was yellowed and hard to see through, and there was condensation inside one of the headlights. I specifically asked for these issues to be fixed, and they were written into the contract. However, at the time of delivery, none of these problems had been addressed. The truck had no alignment done, the headlight was still not fixed, and the mirror was unchanged. On top of that, I had to wait over an hour because the truck was dirty and only washed at the last minute—and not even properly cleaned. I was told to come back another day to get everything fixed, even though the truck was clearly unsafe to drive. As soon as I reached speeds of 55–60 mph, the front right wheel would shake badly, making the vehicle dangerous. When I returned to the dealership as instructed by my salesman, DJ, he handled the situation with an unprofessional attitude and took the truck to the warehouse for repairs. The next day, I was told by a manager that the truck would be ready—but no one ever called me. For five days, I received no communication, until I personally went there and found out the truck had been sitting outside, ready, the entire time. To make matters worse, my salesman DJ took my personal car keys with him and went out of town, making it impossible for me to retrieve my vehicle. Throughout this entire process, the only person who treated me with honesty and professionalism was one of the managers. Aside from him, no one ever picked up the phone to properly help me. I called Westgate Ram more than 20 times, and every single time I was told that my salesman or a manager would call me back within 10 minutes—but I never received a single call. This entire experience has been extremely unprofessional and frustrating. I was given a vehicle that was not safe to drive, with brakes that squeak and do not perform properly, and even something as basic as windshield washer fluid was empty. Thank you DJ and Westgate for your unacceptable service.

Jeff and the finance manager took great care of me. Actually got me a better rate than I arrived with. If you’re in the market for a new or used car, I’d definitely come by and check them out. I made a 4 hour drive and couldn’t be happier.

I drove 12-14 hours from Central New York to buy a 2019 Dodge Charger and it was one of the easiest car buying experiences I’ve had. Tre was great to work with and he was able to get almost everything done before I made the trip. We got there late at night right before closing and they let us come back and drive the car again in the morning and look through it to make sure we didn’t miss anything. The entire team at Westgate was amazing and easy to work with. A huge shoutout to Tre again as he made the whole buying experience easy and thank you for calling a year after I bought the car to see how it was treating me. I would highly recommend buying a car from Westgate and I would for sure go back again and buy from them.
