# Summary The dealership receives mixed reviews, with customers praising individual salespeople for their professionalism and patience, while others report significant issues with vehicle preparation, service responsiveness, and warranty claim handling. Some buyers describe excellent sales experiences and well-maintained vehicles, whereas others experienced poorly detailed cars upon delivery and frustration with service departments' reluctance to address warranty issues.
Christopher Behling was our salesperson. The purchased 2018 Subaru Impreza was provided to us on 5/30/2026 with these concerns: 1. Things that do not work: a. The volume button does not work on the radio. The salesperson said to make a service appointment and will be fixed free of charge. b. None of the buttons on the key fob work. Likely the battery is dead. The salesperson did not mention it even though he likely knew when getting the car for us. c. Light on the dash is still on. Likely the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) Light which the salesperson said would go away after it was driven a bit. It has not. 2. Exterior: a. Not sure if car was washed. If it was washed, it was not dried properly. There are water spots all over the car. Dirt on the tires is still present meaning that the quality of the car wash was not very good. b. There is an XC on the windshield. c. Screw is coming out of the passenger side back tire. Likely for a mud flap that is no longer there. 3. Interior: a. Overall interior is very dirty. b. Fennel seeds were still in the center console. This was requested to be cleaned but obviously was not. c. No floor mats were installed (later found in the trunk). The floors are very dirty especially with shoe prints. 4. Other a. Only one key was provided. It was not mentioned that only one set would be available. In my opinion, we paid a premium for a dirty vehicle. Not impressed at all. Update: Between June 1 and June 9, 2026, multiple service issues with the vehicle were escalated and addressed through Wilde Honda. Initial communication delays required in-person engagement to initiate service. The vehicle underwent repairs for multiple concerns, including AC performance, TPMS functionality, and interior condition, with several follow-up visits required due to incomplete or recurring issues (vehicle was with the dealership more than with us during this time). Coordination with dealership management and service teams improved responsiveness over time. As of June 9, all identified issues were confirmed resolved following final repairs and validation. Thank you to Isaac Chapin (Service Manager) who ensured all issues were resolved. Key Vehicle Issues and Resolutions: • Air Conditioning Performance - Issue: AC not cooling effectively. Resolution: Refrigerant refilled; system confirmed to be operating properly. • TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) - Issue: TPMS warning light active; issue initially missed, then identified across all four tires; recurrence after initial repair. Resolution: Sensors replaced and recalibrated; functionality verified after final repair on June 9. • Radio / Volume Control - Issue: Faulty volume control requiring replacement. Resolution: New radio ordered and installed during follow-up visit. • Loose Components - Issue: Loose screws (mud flaps). Resolution: Screws tightened. • Interior/Exterior Condition - Issue: Vehicle delivered with poor interior and exterior cleanliness. Resolution: Vehicle fully detailed. • Service Process Gaps - Issue: Delays in response, missed items during initial service, and incomplete repairs requiring multiple visits. Resolution: Escalation to management improved coordination; all outstanding issues addressed and confirmed resolved as of June 9.
Great experience at Wilde Honda in Waukesha! I heard they were one of the best Honda dealerships in Wisconsin, so I had to drive down there. Oscar and Mark were awesome to work with. I love the car! It was in excellent condition inside and out.
I have bought and owned over a dozen vehicles but this was my first time getting a vehicle from a dealership/lot. My salesman-Zaydan "Don" did an amazing job helping me through my anxiety and worries. This was a big decision for me to make and he was patient, understanding, kind, and honest! I would totally recommend him to anyone who's looking for the same experience. Thanks again Don!
Christopher Behling was an awesome salesman. Very nice down to earth guy who wants what’s best for you. Got my first car through him and couldn’t be happier. Kyle Barney was an excellent finance person who hooked me up even though I made it a bit difficult for him. Again he wants what’s best for you and I couldn’t be happier.
We've bought a lot of cars from Wilde Honda in the past. A CRV, an Odyssey, several Pilots. When we had a break-in a couple years ago, our Pilot was stolen. Inventory of new cars was crazy low due to chip shortages so we had to buy from another dealer that had inventory. A couple weeks ago, we had our first warranty issue with the Pilot we bought from another dealer in 2023. The power windows, mirrors, and door locks in the drivers door stopped working. We dropped it off at Wilde for a 3:45 appointment and were told the techs were all gone for the day so they'd look at it first thing the next morning. I called to check in the following afternoon and was told that they would not fix the car under warranty as there were aftermarket wires "spliced in" that could be causing a problem and they wouldn't even touch the car. In reality, the other dealer had installed LoJack (by plugging a plug into an OBD-II port) prior to me buying the vehicle. No wires were spliced and this was not in any way a cause of the issue. Wilde unplugged the LoJack device and it was sitting in my cup holder when I got the car back, with the OBD-II wire just dangling. Service manager claimed they had never seen a LoJack before and wouldn't touch the car. I ended up having to take the car to the dealer I bought it from to get it fixed under warranty. Due to kids schedules, I had to drop the car off and run a second car round trip 2x. Total excess miles = 240. Other dealer ended up recalibrating the master switch in less than an hour which resolved the issue. Wilde reached out to see how they did. I responded with what had transpired and was told my concerns would be escalated to the GM. I gave them over a week to respond, but nothing. My understanding of warranty law is they need to prove an aftermarket device is causing the issue before they can deny warranty coverage. Very disappointed and will not be buying or servicing with them again.
