You are traveling to attend a funeral and in a strange town the water and check engine light come on. You pull into a dealership you have never heard of and have no experience with. It is 3 pm and they have a lobby of people waiting for their cars and then you are told the mechanic for Toyota cannot do anything today and he will be on vacation the next two days. What do you do? Well we rented a car and left our Toyota Prius in the hands of Woodhouse Toyota in Grand Island, Nebraska. To say I was blown away is to put it mildly. First thing I got a text with a link to show me exactly the progress of my car. When they found the problem they called to explain in terms I could understand. We also asked them to check out a rattle in the front end and they discovered what that problems was too. We Handled our business in Salt Lake City and completed our visit and picked up the car on our way back home. Matt, Felicity and Tyler were outstanding in their service. Someone should be grateful they work for Woodhouse Toyota. Please give them an A+ for the care they showed us. Thanks again for all your help.

My experience with Woodhouse Hyundai in Elkhorn has been nothing short of alarming. I brought my vehicle in for recall work, and I expected the dealership to handle the process professionally and safely. Instead, while my vehicle was in Woodhouse’s exclusive care, custody, and control, it was destroyed by an employee of the cleaning company they contract with. Woodhouse has acknowledged responsibility in writing, yet months later, I still have no replacement vehicle and no complete compensation. What followed after the loss of my vehicle was a pattern of behavior that no customer should ever face: - Contradictory statements to the Attorney General, including stating I was in “negative equity” while simultaneously insisting I could buy a replacement vehicle from them: "We would like to provide her the ability to obtain a replacement vehicle with the monies she received from the insurance claim, but she has not given us this opportunity." - No written resolution plan, no timeline, and no clear explanation of how they intended to make me whole. - Retrieving their loaner vehicle and leaving me without transportation, despite the fact that I still have no replacement for the car they destroyed. The entire experience has been disorganized, inconsistent, and deeply unprofessional. Their communication has been evasive, their documentation sloppy, and their priorities seem focused on minimizing their own exposure rather than resolving the harm they caused. I came in because my gas tank exploded — a serious safety issue. Instead of helping, Woodhouse Hyundai Elkhorn made the situation exponentially worse by destroying my vehicle and then failing to provide a clear, timely, or competent resolution. Bottom line: I cannot recommend Woodhouse Hyundai Elkhorn. A dealership that mishandles a vehicle after a major safety incident, destroys it, and then refuses to resolve the situation responsibly is not a dealership you can trust. I'm still waiting for a reply from the email I sent on 1/16/26 or even a confirmation that it was received. I still do not have transportation because my car was totaled at Woodhouse Hyundai on July 22 while parked there during a recall service, and Woodhouse Hyundai refuses to cooperate, reply, or do anything other than ignore me completely.
