John was responsive and energetic - he was knowledgeable and confident and quick to connect with his colleagues in the service dept for details on mechanical questions and Robbie on any accessories. It was a seamless experience. Robbie provided knowledgable advice on accessories with a solid understanding of brand and style differences. My last truck was exceptionally reliable - with only 200kms on this one my fingers are crossed that I have the same experience again - but I feel very confident that Zarowny motors will stand behind their product.

They tried to push me into a $3.000 timing chain replacement that was completely unnecessary. I brought my 2014 Ford Escape (2.0L) in three separate times for an intermittent P0012/P0034 codes. No prior issues with my vehicle. Drop in 1: They suggested P0034 was likely electrical but did no testing. Visit 2: My car sat in their lot for a week. I called several times, and they didn't look at it until an hour before closing on a Thursday. They assumed.it was debris, claimed to have forced it out, and returned the car. The code came back within a day. Visit 3: I booked two weeks in advance. This time, they claimed a "pinpoint test" showed a bad computer (PCM), yet they said they didn't believe it and "suspected" the timing and quoted me $3,000 for a timing chain/belt repair. I specifically requested they start with a standard oil change which was due and is a known cause for these specific codes. They told me they did not have time for an oil change, despite being ready to book me in for a $3,000 major engine tear-down. When I asked if they had physically removed and inspected the VCT solenoid they were unable to provide an answer. Based on these red flags I took my vehicle to another mechanic for a second opinion. He performed a $144 oil change and provided a clear path on possible next steps if needed. I have now driven for over two weeks with zero issues, no check engine lights, and the car is running perfectly. Based on this it's clear this dealership prioritized a high-profit "guess" over basic, requested maintenance. They were ready to have me spend thousands on a timing chain when the engine just needed fresh oil. I only avoided the diagnostic fee on the third visit because I protested their inconsistent findings. Just bought a second hand suv. Had to bring it in for repairs. The get me in quickly and a ride to and from tim hortons while I wait. The Staff is amazing!!!!! They answered all my silly questions and explained everything they did. Highly recommend this place.
